It is very well made and sturdy for the price I paid $109 I was very impressed! It has a nice honey color, slants just enough, has a pencil groove at the top. The hinge on the desk allows it to stay open so child can grab things out w/o the top falling down. It is nice and roomy inside. The desk is made for smaller kids, I would say from age 2 to maybe 8 depending on how tall the child is. My kid is tall for 5 1/2 and fits it nicely and should fit it for at least an additional year.
